You agree to use Study Buddy only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload content you don't have rights to
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Use automated systems to scrape or abuse the service
• Share account credentials with others

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Intellectual Property

Study Buddy's platform, design, and technology are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (lectures, notes). You grant Study Buddy a limited license to process your content to provide the service.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated summaries, transcriptions, and test questions are provided as study aids. They may contain errors. Always verify important information with your course materials and instructors. Study Buddy is not responsible for academic decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. Limitation of Liability

Study Buddy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Profile settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
